Oh, and some advice.. Even if you were jokin about the guys with natural talent, don't let it piss you off!! Use it to motivate your baseball-playin ass to get better!! What SHOULD piss you off are the fuckheads who do got the natural talent but don't do nothin with it.. Lazy and arrogant ballplayers don't fly with me, ha

I agree assassin buddy! A hitter needs both confidence AND mechanics, but think of it this way -- at an important time in a game, i'd rather have the player who's a bulldog (or silent assassin, :] ) at the dish who thinks (and knows) he can hit that round thing square, rather than a guy with good mechanics. But obviously i'd take the guy that has both confidence and mechanics over either of those two any day, ha.. But if i didn't have that guy, then i'd take the confident one.. Any thoughts?

I agree and disagree. I have played baseball for about 10-12 years now. I practice pretty well, if not, everyday in the summer for a couple hours a day. I still have no power. I have gotten good at constant abse hits, but very few to no home runs. I have tons of confidence, and have tried MANY different mechanical swings, but cant generate power. I am an avergae build guy too. I think you need confindence AND mechanics. Nothing pisses me off more then natural talent!!! haha
